Companions for Seniors in Chicago and Chicago's suburbs are available on a daily basis to help with household and personal needs. We take great pride in the quality of the Companions we have available to serve you. Our Companions are educated, compassionate, energetic, and have a strong desire to help others. They range in age from late-twenties to mid-sixties. They go through a rigorous application process and personal interview. Their references, criminal history, and driving record are checked by our experienced staff.
Companion Services Include:
- Social interaction
- Driving
- Accompany to medical appointments and provide assistance in dealing with daily activities
- Help with shopping
- Help organize living space
- Help with correspondence
- Help with light housekeeping, cooking and laundry
Companions are available for one time assignments or ongoing positions* (“pay-as-you-go” service).
Member Fees:
- Daily Placement Fee: $20 per day
- Average Companion Hourly Fee: $15/hour (four hours minimum)
- Note: Emergency Fee: additional $15 for next day service.
