The first question that many potential clients may ask is, "How much do you charge?" There are many things to take into consideration when comparing fees of various agencies. Our fee structure is competitive locally as well as nationally.

What can you expect to pay a nanny? In the Chicagoland area, nannies salaries are between $11.00 an hour up to $20.00 an hour. On average an experienced nanny with excellent references will earn a minimum of $12.00 -$14.00 an hour.

Higher salaries indicate formal child care education, nanny training, a degree, and/or long term employment history.

Live in nannies usually earn $500 to $800 per week. The average nanny works between 40 and 55 hours per week. We also place part time nannies as well as on-call (temporary) nannies and babysitters. Please check our on-call temporary services.

If you hire a full time live–in or live-out nanny and need to replace that person within the first 12 months we will assist you and offer one time nanny replacement at no additional fee. We offer 30 day prorated cash refund or replacement guarantee.

Temporary Nanny (Babysitting service)

Temporary Referral Rates:

  • $30 per day
  • $120 per week up to 4 weeks
  • $600  up to 90 days
  • $50 per day for hotel sitter/holiday sitter/sick care
  • $500 for summer nanny
  • $30 per day for newborn baby nurse (minimum 10 days)
  • $15 - $20 per day for newborn baby nurse for more than 10 days

Note: *The minimum temporary assignments are four hours.

Younger and unprofessional agency may offer lower rates because:

  • Many times they are not licensed and bonded by Illinois Department of Labor
  • They do not have many candidates registered with them
  • They need whatever business they can get
  • They can go out of business during the next few months
  • They are doing the minimal screening
  • They use short one or two page application
  • They never meet the nanny applicants in person
  • They ask for reference information but never call the references themselves
  • They even fake the references
  • They do not do any background reports
  • They don’t ask for legal work status
