Most Caregivers either work for an agency as "homemakers" or "home health aides", while others are independent providers/subcontractors. Caregivers can be utilized on a short or long-term basis. Short-term care may include respite care or simple domestic chores to assist a patient who has undergone a recent hospitalization. Long-term care may be used for companionship or more chronic health situations.

Live-In (24 hour/cost per day) $70.00 - $150.00 per day
Come & Go (6 hours minimum) average $10.00 per hour
Come & Go Part time: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
Payment sources: Private/self pay (not covered by Medicare)
The pay range varies, depending on the condition of the patient, education, skill and job responsibility of the caregiver and the distance and duration of the shift. Caregiver's amounts shown are based on personal experience and current market rates.
Service Area All Chicagoland and far surrounding suburbs (Live - In Caregivers are available in Northwest Indiana and Southeast Wisconsin).
Agency will not accept less than a minimum of 20 Hours a week in Chicago and in suburbs.
